The Vermillion Cliffs National Monument encompasses 294,000 acres of remote, unspoiled wilderness that features amazing geologic formations. Located in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah, the sedimentary rocks millions of years in the making have reoded into fantastic and colorful shapes and forms. The monument includes the Paria plateau and canyon, Coyote Buttes, and the phantasmagorical White Pocket.
