Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, located in the Rio Grande valley of central New Mexico, is a world-renowned mecca for bird watchers and photographers. Thirty to forty thousand Snow Geese and up to fifteen thousand majestic Sandhill Cranes winter here every year. Also resident are many species of other waterfowl, numerous raptors, in addition to mule deer, coyotes, and javelinas. The visual and auditory spectacle of thousands of waterfowl rising off the marshes just as dawn is breaking over the mountains is one the visitor will not forget.

Tim,
These are the best! I was there several years ago for the festival. It is such gorgeous country and you captured it perfectly. I need to go again.
