The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore stretches for 42 miles along the southern shore of Lake Superior in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Thirteen of those miles are towering multihued sandstone cliffs, sculpted by wind, waves, and ice. The rocks amazing colors derive from the minerals and metals deposited in the sandstone. The park also features beaches, sand dunes, waterfalls, lakes, and forests.

Great pictures with a variety of colors. I am guessing in a few weeks it will be all covered with snow.
